MeI have been a training consultant and life-work coach for over 20 years.
My career started in Market Research before I trained as a teacher of English, Theatre Studies and Drama (B.Ed in English and Drama, London University). Having gained an M.Ed in Human Relations at Nottingham University, I made the transition from education to the private sector by joining the Industrial Society as Training Consultant and Management Advisor, designing and implementing training courses.
I set up EW Training in 1991, based in South London, specialising in training in stress management and change, management and womens’ development, both corporately for large blue chip organisations and in the education sector. My coaching practice started during this period when I was increasingly asked to work with clients on a one-to-one basis. Finding this the most powerful and cost-effective way to achieve fantastic results, I have increasingly focused on coaching, with all my clients being referred personally.
My own life-work experiences have included balancing motherhood and full-time work, coming through serious illness, getting through divorce collaboratively, changing career twice and co-authoring two successful books on stress management and professional development. My work has enabled me to help many people achieve greater happiness, fulfilment, improved life-work balance and success, and support numerous corporate and personal change programmes. In so doing I have been incredibly fortunate to achieve satisfaction and fulfilment myself, with the support, wisdom and guidance of trusted professionals, friends and colleagues. One thing I have learned is that it is an on-going process!
